“We had a short stay at “The Lock Up” for our sons wedding at Coronation Hall. Perfect location for us as the venue was only a short walk across the road. The house has absolutely everything you need for your stay (and more). Coffee machine was greatly appreciated Sunday morning after a late night. We loved the outdoor area with BBQ for ease of putting together a quick meal. Lots of room for people to have their own space if they need it and we had 6 adults stay very comfortably. WiFi was good and ample places to park. Access to accommodation was easy and the return of bond was done promptly in the time quoted without any issues. Great value and thoroughly recommend this accommodation to others. Thank you Steve !!”

“Thanks to the Lock Up house for a peaceful and relaxing getaway from the busy city for my birthday. I couldn’t believe how this accommodation was such value for money and how close (only a 90 minute stunning drive from Brisbane) this hidden gem was. The house slept everyone comfortably, was clean and tidy, had full kitchen of utensils and appliances (including coffee machine which my partner loved) and the house was big enough to have 11 people stay at ease. House had perfect location as it was walking distance to local shop for last minute forgotten items, caravan park where we had friends staying and short drive to Somerset dam for endless fun in the sun doing water activities. Couldn’t recommend it more to future guests. Will definitely be back again to enjoy the picturesque scenery, BBQ lunches by Somerset Dam and beautiful starlit night skies. Thanks again, Jess.”

“Our daughter and her family thoroughly enjoyed their stay. They found the house warm, comfortable and most importantly for a family with very small children, very secure. They particularly appreciated the secure back yard, and the wifi. They also liked the extra touch of the coffee maker.I would definitely recommend The Lock Up to any families staying in Somerset because of the secure back yard, the laundry and the wifi, as well as the overall comfortable and warm atmosphere.”
